Tom Bergerson, MS, Clinical Trainee Child and Adolescent Day Treatment

Thomas Bergerson has a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Thomas is working towards licensure as a professional clinical counselor. Thomas has worked in the mental health field for 2 years and is currently a provider in our SLMH Provider programs utilizing attachment theory and the Developmental Repair Model. He services Rum River North, South, and East Educational Programs and Woodland Campus in the Cambridge-Isanti District. Thomas has experience working with children who’ve experienced trauma including foster care, pre-adoption, and adoption, and have difficulties across environments. He has a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and their caregivers as they face mental health challenges. Thomas has experience working with clients with different cultures and identities, and he enjoys learning about his clients and their unique experiences.
