Professional Experience: I have provided many years working as a School-Linked Behavioral Health therapist. I currently work in the Milaca Public Schools providing both individual and family therapeutic services for our elementary and high school aged students. Additional supports in the school setting include school staff consultations, supporting clients on IEP’s receiving special education, and collaboration with county mental health workers.
Special Interests: My areas of interest in mental health are working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, defiant or oppositional behaviors, autism, and anger or self-esteem issues. I also have special interests with families in foster care or child protective services, and families experiencing divorce or significant life transitions.
A Fun Fact About Me: During the winter months I like to spend my time catching up on shows, ice fishing, and sledding. Summers are my favorite where I spend most of my time at the lake enjoying the weather, fishing, yard games, and tubing. I hope to own a lake home one day.
