Krista holds her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Concordia University in St. Paul which she received in 2019. Krista has 20 years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of roles; including providing direct care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, behavior modification, community residential supervisor, behavior analyst, and mental health program specialist running skills groups in a hospital setting. She also has experience working with children as a foster parent and a respite provider.
Her mental health areas of interest include trauma, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, emotion regulation, and attachment. She uses a holistic approach and meets the client where they are at and walks alongside them as they overcome adversity by teaching coping skills that will help manage their mental health symptoms. Her main goal is to help families work together as a unit to live their best lives possible through growth and transformation.
