Professional Experience: I have several years of experience in Special Education, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other unique challenges. I spent several months as a School Social Work Intern serving students and families of adversity and a variety of needs, as well as educators. I spent time as a Clinical Intern in a day treatment setting, supporting clients of adversity with the development of social and emotional skills. I have provided psychotherapeutic services in schools since 2022.
Special Interests: I specialize in children’s mental health, working with elementary aged clients, ages 5-12. I am a strengths-based clinician and believe that supporting others become more positive thinkers, while building their confidence levels can help with problem-management and reducing overall stress levels. I have particular interests in working with populations of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trauma-and-Stressor-Related Disorders, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders.
A Fun Fact About Me: I love to spend time with my family and dogs. I enjoy participating in AKC events with our German Shorthair Pointers. I have a goal of visiting, and completing the hiking club challenge at, all Minnesota State Parks. My family and I have nine state parks left to visit to complete this goal!
