Professional Experience: I have worked as a children’s mental health practitioner in day treatment, school, outpatient and in-home settings at Lighthouse since 2015. I have experience in working with families and children with a wide variety of diagnosis and specialized training in Intensive Early Intervention programming, Applied Behavioral Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2006. Within my role as Day Treatment Site Supervisor, I am trained in Developmental Repair, Restorative Practices and Handle with Care Behavior Management System for all ages. I assist in day treatment program development, data collection, staff training, intake, community provider coordination and transportation advocacy and coordination.
Special Interests: I am passionate about individualizing teaching and training strategies to increase success and create positive opportunities for growth. I am interested in advocating for access to mental health services and transportation in our rural community.
A Fun Fact About Me: I love spending time with my family enjoying the outdoors in ALL seasons – camping, four-wheeling, boating, biking, snowmobiling, campfires, hiking, hunting and fishing!
