Professional Experience: I have experience working with special education adolescents in a middle school setting and a strong background working with kids from preschool to age 18 who have autism and providing ABA therapy in those settings. I have over seven years of experience working in a Day Treatment setting with kids who have diagnoses of Trauma, ADHD, ODD, sexual orientation, PTSD, RAD, foster care, pre-adoption/adoption, drugs/alcohol issues, and suicidal ideation. I also support clients on IEPs receiving special education and collaborating with county mental health workers.
Special Interests: My area of specialty is children and adolescents. I have a great interest in being able to help these children and adolescents reach their potential of being able to learn and change past behaviors into more positive and resilient behaviors. I also intend to obtain my LPCC licensure.
A Fun Fact About Me: I love to fish, four-wheel, garden, do puzzles, watch the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Twins, and spending time with friends around a bonfire. My favorite place is anywhere the ocean is and I enjoy spending time in Duluth, no matter the time of year. I am also a trained Weather Spotter and love thunderstorms!
