Emily received her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2016 and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Emily has been working in the mental health field for 13 years in a variety of settings including residential and hospital settings, outpatient clinics, day treatments, and on crisis teams. She enjoys working with children and adults and has experience working with a variety of backgrounds and disorders. Emily works to ensure individuals feel comfortable and safe within sessions as they begin to heal and receive support and tools needed to reach the goals they seek to achieve. Areas of professional interest for Emily include anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, trauma, suicidal ideation, and personality disorders.
