Deborah attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore for her B.A. in Social Work, and from there went to the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work where she graduated with a Master of Social Work. Her specialty is Clinical Health and is currently a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). She is also working towards becoming a LICSW.
Working in Baltimore, Deborah learned the complexities of social work in an established urban community. She has also worked within school systems in the rural communities of Southeastern Minnesota. She enjoys finding commonalities amongst all, as well as further developing her knowledge and skill set of specific environments. She is interested in address the need for processing grief and major life changes, as well as empowering children and young adults to become their best selves. Deborah specifically enjoys Motivational Interviewing, CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy, but appreciates a wide variety of evidence-based practices.
