Professional Experience: Throughout my time as a social work student, volunteering and interning, I gained many valuable experiences working with a wide range of clients. During my time in undergrad I was an intern for a middle school social worker, meeting individually with students, conducting peer mediation, and facilitating a girls group. As a graduate student, I was an intern at a child and adolescent day treatment program, proving group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and social skills. In my previous place of employment, I was a school-linked provider in a pre-school and elementary school, providing individual and family therapy, as well as facilitating social skills groups with students over winter and summer breaks.
Special Interests: I specialize in working with pre-school and elementary aged clients and am DC 0-5 certified. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and am currently working towards becoming a fully rostered CPP provider. I like to use a trauma informed approach and a strengths based perspective in my work with clients.
A Fun Fact About Me: I enjoy anything art related and making fun craft projects. I love going to art fairs and looking at all of the unique things that people have made!
