Ahnnica Baade, MA is a School-Linked Mental Health Therapist in the Cambridge Isanti High School and sees adolescents, adults, couples and families at the Cambridge Outpatient Office. Ahnnica received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in Family Social Science and Family Violence Prevention at the University of Minnesota. She received her Master of Arts from Bethel University in Counseling Psychology. Ahnnica is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Ahnnica also has extensive training and experience in sexual assault advocacy.
Ahnnica has a wide range of experience working with children to adults with a variety of backgrounds and abilities. Ahnnica has experience working with couples and families as well as individuals. Ahnnica has been with Lighthouse Child and Family Services since 2015 and has primarily worked with teenagers and their families regarding a variety of issues. Ahnnica also facilitates Adolescent DBT skills groups.
Her areas of interest in mental health include but are not limited to: relational issues, depression, anxiety, sexual assault, domestic violence, trauma, attachment, identity work, self-esteem issues, blended families, suicidal ideation, grief/loss, and family of origin issues.
