Lighthouse Child & Family Services is currently accepting applications for a full-time Mental Health Practitioner/Skills Trainer to serve clients in our Day Treatment program in St. Cloud, MN.
Duties:
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with mental health therapists
- Provide individual, family and group skills training to children and their families in day treatment, school, office, telehealth and home
- Complete documentation and data collection in timely manner
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team including subbing at our Princeton Day Treatment location as needed
- Attend clinical care consult meetings as needed
- Maintain continuing education and follow requirements of supervision, as applicable
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate required in a behavioral health science or related field from an accredited college or university
AND
- 2,000+ hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness, behavioral disorders or children/youth with emotional disturbances and their families
OR
- An associate degree with 6,000+ hours of supervised experience as per state requirements for Mental Health Practitioner
Other Requirements:
- When applicable, licensure must be active and in good standing with the respective Licensing Board. Must adhere to licensure ethics and regulations. In-service training/education is required to maintain licensure.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Environmental Factors:
- Job entails sitting for some of job performance time
- Lifting up to 45lbs
- Travel to community-based service locations including family homes
- Working in community-based settings and family homes that may not be clean or sanitary
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in early childhood education, parent education and/or child protective services.
