Lighthouse Child & Family Services (LCFS) is seeking to add a motivated and caring Mental Health Therapist (or Clinical Trainee) to our Princeton Day Treatment team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Therapist Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct Diagnostic Assessments (DA) and Individual Treatment Plans (ITP)
- Conduct DC:0-5 Assessments as needed (children under age 6)
- Provide group psychotherapy as a component of Day Treatment to children ages 3-12 (for minimum of two groups of 6-8 children and up to 6 hours/day)
- Provide individual and family therapy to children and their families in office, telehealth, and in-home (when recommended)
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Attend or lead clinical care consult meetings as needed
- Maintain continuing education and follow requirements of supervision (as applicable)
- Complete documentation and data collection in a timely manner
- Other duties as needed to support our clients and team
Environmental/Physical Factors and Requirements
- This role requires various movements including sitting, standing, walking, brief running, climbing stairs/hills, squatting. Staff may be sitting on the floor for an extended period of time in daily direct care work.
- Ability to lift independently lift up to 45 pounds and participate in restrictive procedure holds requiring 2-person escorts lifting 50-100+ pounds (i.e., preschool through school-aged Day Treatment students).
- This role is emotionally and mentally rigorous. Providers will be exposed to a significant amount of secondary trauma and must be able to self-regulate to co-regulate or assist clients in their emotional and behavioral regulation.
- If applicable, travel to and work in community-based service locations including family homes that may not be clean or sanitary.
What You’ll Need
Therapist Requirements/Qualifications
- An awarded master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Be on the path to LMFT, LPCC, LP, LICSW licensure (or already licensed)
- A reliable car, driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check facilitated through MN DHS that may include fingerprinting and photo identification

Compensation and Classification
Mental Health Therapist (or Clinical Trainee)
- Compensation Range: $24.50 – $33.00 per hour (DOQE)
- Job Status: Full-time; 40 hours/week
- Job Classification: Non-exempt
