Professional Experience: I have spent many years in education including teaching English abroad and online to foreign learners. I have travelled nationally and internationally working with not-for-profit agencies providing services including medical, dental, housing, and educational programs. During my time at Winona State University, I was able to offer trauma-informed care first as a school social worker intern and then as a school-based clinical intern.
Special Interests: I have experience and interest in working with youth of all ages and particular interest in utilizing attachment theory methods of clinical care and exploring regulation through physical movement and play.
A Fun Fact About Me: I spend as much of my free time as possible outdoors and with my kids. We enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, dirt biking, swimming and camping.
