Professional Experience: I started my career providing in-home, relationship-based interventions to Autistic children and their families. In 2009 I returned to graduate school and received a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since 2012, I have provided individual and family therapy in homes, schools, and outpatient settings. I provide clinical supervision for Clinical Interns, LMFT and LPCC candidates. I provide clinical supervision for county Adult and Children’s Mental Health Case Managers. I am rostered in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and am also a CAMP CPP trainer, which allows me to train other providers within our Lighthouse agency. I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also provide EMDR therapy (currently in training).

Special Interests: I have a special interest in working with infant and early childhood mental health and their family systems. I have experience working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma experiences, sensory needs, family conflict, child protection/welfare, school issues, and peer and social relationship difficulties. Additionally, I provide therapy to adults who struggle with trauma experiences, family conflict, anxiety, depression, and couples looking to improve their partner relationship. I would describe myself as a relationship-based therapist who seeks to create a safe, regulated, and curious space for clients to grow, process, and move forward in their mental health journey.

A Fun Fact About Me: I truly enjoy all the seasons MN has to offer (except for maybe the bitter, below zero cold) and spend as much time as I can outside. I love being active, learning, spending time with my family, and working on projects around the house.
