Professional Experience: Previous to becoming a therapist I was a teacher for about 20 years. I have been an early childhood parent and child educator for ECFE and Head Start and a classroom teacher. For the last 13 years of my teaching career I taught 7-12 grades mostly at Day Treatments and Level IV schools. Since 2019 I have provided therapeutic services in-home, in schools and in an outpatient setting. I see all agesI have experience supporting clients on IEPS, and help support parents navigate through the process.
Special Interests: I enjoy seeing all ages of clients. I have experience using art and play therapy techniques. I enjoy using the experiential and narrative approach to therapy. I have interests and experience working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, ASD and heavy stressors that life throws out.
A Fun Fact About Me: I love spending time with my family, dogs and horses.
