Professional Experience: I hold my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) through the Minnesota Board of Social Work. As the Clinical Director, I help guide all clinical services towards the agency’s goals so that all clients receive the best care possible. I am also the DBT Program Director and am a Board Approved Supervisor.
Special Interests: I have a particular interest and training in the areas of depression, anxiety, self injurious behaviors, suicidal behaviors, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adolescents and adults. I have a strong commitment to providing quality mental health services to the community and have provided mental health services, in a variety of different roles, to Mille Lacs County and surrounding communities for over 20 years. I provide Individual DBT for adults and am a Nationally Certified DBT therapist through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (TM).
A Fun Fact About Me: I enjoy traveling, especially to warm weather climates.
